Jamie Shane Vinyasa
I cannot tell you what 'kind' of yoga that I teach
because I integrate so many styles into my classes that
description is impossible.
I teach Hatha yoga.
I teach some Kundalini yoga.
I teach Pranayama.
I teach Meditation.
I teach Beginners.
I teach Advanced students.

But I always, always, teach in Vinyasa.

That means that I will take you smoothly from one
posture to the next. There will be a link between them
somehow that makes the transition seem natural and
evolutional. We ride the breath through the whole
practice, and this smooth rhythm keeps the mind
focused and the body primed for whatever comes
next. Vinyasa is all about the
flow.

Students and teachers alike have asked me how I craft
my classes so that the flow is unique every single time.
For many years, I had no answer. I channel my classes
more often than not. And I usually forget the flows as
soon as we are finished. But I recently sat down to
think about it and came up with the chart below. I
hope it helps.
