Banana Bread

Smash up 3 bananas that have seen the end of their days in a large bowl. Add:

¾ cup sugar

1 egg

1/3 cup butter

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt


Mix well and then fold in:

1 ½ cup flour

I don’t recommend gluten free flour, but feel free to try. We encourage making our own mistakes here….

Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake in a 375 degree pre-heated oven for 20 minutes. Poke with a fork to check if it’s done. If it comes out gooey, it needs to go back in. Check at 5 minute intervals so that it doesn’t get too brown and dry.
