Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry
Ingredients
For the Stir Fry
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
3 cups broccoli florets
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
For the Sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Preparation
Whisk together sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef in a single layer and cook 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil, then broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
Add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
Return beef to pan, pour in sauce, and toss everything together until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
Serve over rice.
