Kitchen Witchery

I have two kitchens. Really. I do. My partner bought the condo next to mine and we just blew out the joining wall, which is insanely cool. But that means that we have two of everything, and ended up with one kitchen to feed people and one kitchen to do all the things. All the things, people.

I grow herbs on the kitchen counter which I then dry and turn into many amazing concoctions. I brew every type of ferment you could possibly imagine. I have pots just for soap and pots just for wax. Every cabinet is full of bottles and jars and oils and butters and it brings me such joy. Forty five and I finally finally have the witches kitchen where I get to make any and every potion I could ever wish. #goalachieved

The other kitchen is pretty standard and I am pressing pretty hard for a reno. Super dated, y’all. Super dated. But it has all the requisite parts to let me cook and bake and experiment with all the ways that you can fuck up a perfectly normal recipe. And fuck up I do—spectacularly. Learning how to cook in all the ways that aren’t “normal” (or as I call it, the ‘no’ cooking) has definitely taught me patience, perseverance and humour. I joke, but I really have learned how to muthafuckin’ cook.

So that’s what you find here. Recipes. Products. Herbal stuffs and Plant Wisdom. As with any project, it is an ever evolving process, and I welcome you to join me. Feel free to browse. Feel free to purchase. :-) And if you want any type of lessons, please feel free to shoot me an email; I do these things on site if possible, on-line if not.

Happy making!
