Shopping List & Menu

I’ve never claimed to be carb free, and frankly, I finally figured out that I would rather be a little fluffy and a lot happy than give up carbs to be skinny. Took some work, for sure, but you gotta make choices in this life, right? This menu is carb heavy, but there are ways to ease up on that particular throttle if you need to.


Menu:

Shrimp Scampi with Peas

Kofte with Hummus, Pita & Roasted squash

Shopping List:

1 lb Shrimp Shredded Cheese

Frozen peas 1 can black beans

pasta rice

Tomatoes x8 cauliflower

avocado x2 pancake mix

ground lamb chickpeas

garlic sesame seeds

zucchini summer squash

chicken breast eggs

tortillas corn x2

pita

There are a lot of ways you can make substitutions here, and if you are gluten free, you’ll have to. Luckily we have a lot of great gluten free carb options, and if you want to substitute spaghetti squash for the pasta, feel free. The shopping list is coming in at 70$ for a family of four, although I did choose some organic options so you may be able to find it all cheaper.
